I shoot from the heart.
By capturing the moments and beautiful stories over the years, I’ve been very privileged to meet many wonderful couples and families along the way. With a background in graphic and website design, I’ve been working in the new media and visual art field for over 12 years. I earned a Bachelor of Design (Honours) from the beautiful NSCAD University in Halifax, and have owned my own business for most of my adult life. Most recently, I have been blessed with the opportunity to return home to Cape Breton, loving life with family and friends on our beautiful island.
My philosophy is simple: I shoot from the heart, as cheese-filled as that sounds. I watch, listen and anticipate the little (and BIG) moments in everyday life, and try to capture them with creativity and style. I’m not afraid to try new things, mix techniques, or roll around in the grass to make your little-ones smile. I welcome your ideas and want to work with you to ensure that your images pop with character and playfulness. I’m sincere, polite and not intrusive; all notable qualities in my opinion, to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed. Most importantly, I love what I do, work hard to ensure you get the very best quality images, and am grateful you’ve considered me to capture something or someone special in your life.
